I just wanted to thank everybody for the great turnout we had at Boston's in Waldorf on January 28th for our informal Southern Maryland YR's Happy Hour. We had nearly 30 Young Republicans, candidates, and activists in attendance. It was a great way to start to build our club in the new year!

The next step is to hold a more organizational meeting, so that we can both have fun at a good restaurant, but also bring folks together and start organizing local leadership for the Southern Maryland Chapter.

Our next Southern Maryland Young Republicans Meeting will be an organizational meeting to be held on Wednesday, March 10th at 7 PM. We will be meeting at St. Mary's Landing Restaurant, 29935 3 Notch Road in Mechanicsville.

Please provide widest dissemination to all of your friends, neighbors, and Republican contacts. If each person who attended the meeting can bring four friends or family members, we can start the club off right with 100 active members!
